Congratulations to: Andy H (the Scot)
i have not seen this movie yet..looks good
My son would love this movie. He’s right into Martial Arts movies.Wtg winner.
I can appreciate a good martial arts film and the talent these actors have but they are never my first choice of movies. It seems there aren’t any new up and coming martial artists out there or none I’m aware of anyway. We always go back to the legends like Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Van Damme, etc.
As someone with -no- martial arts training, I’m impressed by most martial arts scenes on the big screen. But as for a favorite I’d go with Jackie Chan or Jet Li.
i like jackie chan, i recently watch the karate kid with him in it..
was a really great movie
my favorite is jason statham, he is an awesome action star and martial artist
uhm I’m not really into martial arts movies… like I’ve said before I don’t like the fact that they can kill all the enemies by themselves and never get hurt… I’d pay to see a movie in which the hero finally dies… that would be more memorable than another the tough-dude-saves-the-day movie :)
Bruce Lee has to be the greatest martial artist to have lived. It’s such a shame that he died so young and was tragically followed by his son Brandon who was slated to follow in his shoes.
Tony Jaa
Congrats to the winner
Jet Li
not a jet li fan but to want to see the new movie the expendables with him in it.
Jackie Chan all the way.
Bruce Lee. His great career was cut far too short.
Gotta stay with Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan is my absolute favorite. The best thing about either of him is the originality of the fights in his movies. In a genre full of repetition and cliches, he almost never does the same thing twice. Jackie Chan’s use of the environment is always absolutely amazing, and you have to respect his courage and integrity in always doing his own stunts.

Jet Li, and Jackie Chan are great. Classic Bruce was the original, but I also really really like some of the rising Thai stars such as Tony Jaa and JeeJa Yanin. Michele Yeoh Ziyi Zhang are also fantastic. I am a huge martial arts movie buff.

Bruce Lee was the best by far I think
I know it can’t compete with the names Derrick wrote, but I liked the martial arts in Batman Begins. In the bonus features on the DVD, they explained about it and it was interesting.
The big names usually provide good entertainment: Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Jet Li. Maybe throw in some Sho Kosugi, too. :-)
