    So many people say the shining but I’m ashamed to admit that I have neither read the book nor seen the movie. Stand By Me was one of the better movies based on one of King’s books. It had a great plot and cast. Not your typical Stephen King movie. No blood or killing other than the dead kid that they find but still managed to be very eerie!

    Children Of The Corn was great. The original not any of the crappy remakes. A child prophet convincing all of the other children in a town to kill the adults, talk about creepy. “Outlander! Outlander! We have your woman!” Such a classic line!

    My favorites movie based on a Stephen King book is definitely The Shawshank Redemption. Also really enjoyed Stand By Me. The Stand miniseries was also very good.

    I enjoyed watching The Shining. Truly an iconic horror movie! Jack Nicholson is pure genius. Too bad Shelly Duvall had to play his wife…what a sad performance. But the true show-stealer in that movie is the boy who played Danny Torrance. Brilliance. The Shawshank Redemption is also on my must-see list. It’s towards the top of my Netflix queue.
