Who’s watching Salt with Anjelina Jolie when it releases this Friday July 23, 2010?

Angelina Jolie’s been going from one over the top Action movie to the next and in SALT it looks like it gets even better. Ever since the two Tomb Raider movies, released in 2001 and 2003 respectively, she’s been into that genre. Since then she’s starred in major blockbusters such as Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Wanted, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. The only recent movies I can think of where Jolie didn’t have to go thru action sequences were The Changeling by Clint Eastwood, and The Good Shepherd by Robert De Niro. Also I don’t remember seeing a Philip Noyce movie since The Quiet American (2002). I loved that movie and found it to be truly exceptional so, I wonder how will Noyce surprise us again in SALT. I’m gonna definitely be watching SALT on Friday, will you?

Synopsis

As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who Is Salt?”

    Had some free passes to the local cinema and saw this with a friend yesterday. Wasn’t sure going into it whether I’d like it or not given the mostly mixed reviews I’ve seen. Have to say it was definitely entertaining, but don’t think I’ll be looking to rent (much less own) the DVD when it comes out. Was a decent spy thriller with plenty of action.

    I really liked this one… It was pretty exciting, the fight scenes were ery entertaining and Angelina looks beautiful :)

    I’ll skip watching this movie. I’m not really a fan of Angelina Jolie, honestly. I might rent it and watch it with a few friends. My expectations are low, however.

    Went to see this today and it was amazing!! Kept me guessing right up until the end. Can’t wait for the sequel!!

    I watched SALT this Saturday at the movies. It was soo good that there were 4 halls showing it around the same time. I was hoping to watch it on Friday but unfortunately it was SOLD OUT! Full of action sequences and Angelina Jolie does it again!

    I saw this yesterday. The plot is no Inception, but it’s fun to watch Angelina Jolie kicking ass for an hour and 40 minutes.

    This movie does look like a ton of fun. Can’t wait to see it. Not sure if I’ll go out and see it or if I’ll wait to rent it on DVD (or buy it from iNet)! Angelina Jolie is well deserving of the hype. She’s an incredible actress.

    Super psyched to see this one. Angelina Jolie never disappoints so I’m hoping to make it out this weekend.
