According to reports at Comic-Con, IM Global has signed on Karl Urban to play the famed British comicbook character Judge Dredd, who is judge, jury and executioner in a future gone wrong.
Karl Urban who played Dr. McCoy in the remake of Star Trek – a role originally played by Deforest Kelly in the original Star Trek series -will now play future judge, jury and executioner Judge Dredd in the revamp of the character played by Sylvester Stallone in the original movie based on a comic book created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra.
No Kevin Bacon’s were hurt in this process.
