Jessica Simpson had been keeping us all in suspense with her belly bump and it looks like from the latest photos it just keeps growing. According to OK! magazine the singer has confirmed that she is pregnant however there was no mention about the due date. Yeah, we realize it’s none of our business, but still we have to wonder what is the big secret? Is it because she wanted to wait to announce a wedding before the baby comes?
Well at least we know that the baby Daddy is her fiance, Eric Johnson, whom she first started dating in May 2010 while he was separated from his wife. His divorce was finalized later that year and they became engaged a month later in November 2010. If she wants to continue to keep a low profile until the baby is born that’s fine, but she will have to be prepared to deal with the media who will be swarming like flies on honey trying to get first dibs at the blessed event. She will eventually realize that she won’t be able to continue to keep it a secret much longer unless she were to move to another planet.
Jessica Simpson rose to fame as a singer and being married to her former spouse, Nick Lachey, definitely put her name in the spotlights. She was sometimes criticized for being a “dumb blonde” when she starred with Nick on their reality television series, “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica”. Later the twosome ended up getting divorced on June 2006. Her current fiance is not the first football player that Jessica has been involved with; she was in a relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo before they broke up in July 2009. Prior to dating Romo she had an on-and-off again relationship with musician John Mayer.
