Jackson Rathbone has announced that he will join the ranks of fatherhood when his girlfriend, Sheila Hasfadi gives birth to their first child this summer. The couple is thrilled and excited on becoming parents and are already making room for the new arrival by trading in two of their vehicles for a family-sized car. So far the expectant parents have not released any news regarding the sex of the baby or if whether they are planning on getting hitched before the blessed event takes place.
Since 2008, Jackson Rathbone has been known for playing the role of a vampire in Twilight. He reprised his role as Jasper Hale in the sequels to the Twilight movie. The DVD for the sequel, “Breaking Dawn: Part 1″, aka the “Bella Swan birth video”, is set to be released within a few days just in time for Valentine’s Day. And for those fans who can’t wait to get a peek at the sequel, “Breaking Dawn”: Part 2 , Target stores is set to debut a scene from this movie next month. Rathbone’s baby will be the first born of Twilight parents, however reel life won’t imitate real life when it comes to the birth of this child. Anyone who has seen the birth scene in that movie would certainly agree!
In addition to playing the role of a blood-sucker, Rathbone also played the character of Sokka in “The Last Airbender” a movie based on the animated series. He has made appearances in several television series and other films. Rathbone is also a musician and enjoys singing, songwriting, and producing. He performs in a band, “100 Monkeys” with two friends from high school and has released several albums as well as doing performances around the country. Rathbone and his girlfriend, who is a burlesque dancer, met during a tour stop with his band.
