Jennifer Lawrence will be starring in the upcoming science fiction action-drama film based on the first book of the “Hunger Games” trilogy. The actress will portray the main character, Katniss Everdeen, in the film. The highly anticipated film is set to be released on March 23, 2012 and is expected to surpass $100 million on opening weekend. Once the film hits the theaters Lawrence will definitely become famous and the basically down-to-earth actress says she is ready to deal with her life changing as a result of it. And to think that she almost didn’ t take the role, but according to Lawrence after thinking about it for three days she realized she wasn’t going to let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity pass her by and end up regretting it later on. In addition to her role in “Hunger Games”, Lawrence was also cast in the comedy film, “Silver Linings Playbook”, which is set to be released in November 2012.
While she can be seen slinging arrows and kicking butts in the “Hunger Games”, Lawrence can also be seen on the cover of the April issue of Glamour magazine. In the interview the actress talks about fame and making money from her major role. She also makes clear about a few things she doesn’t like: phonies, actors who complain, and people who say they love exercise. “I hate saying, ‘I like exercising.’ I want to punch people who say that in the face. I don’t diet,” she says. “I do exercise! But I don’t diet. You can’t work when you’re hungry, you know.” Lawrence also reveals in the interview how she likes the “relaxed” British style and considers her fashion sense to be more British than American. The actress also says she loves British men for their “manners” and is currently dating English actor, Nicolas Hoult who was her co-star in the film, X-Men: First Class.
