When asked by a UK Esquire reporter, why Rihanna and her ex, Chris Brown collaborated on recording remixes for Birthday Cake and Turn Up the Music, the sexy singer seemed annoyed. She said it was “definitely” controversial and she turned her attention away from the reporter and the uncomfortable topic. Surprised at the negative attention, Rihanna later said that it was a completely professional environment and NO they were not back together. But fans were still shocked and wondered if the pair had worked out their differences. The songs were revealed to the singer’s Twitter audiences almost immediately and fans assumed they had reconciled. But Rihanna has assured fans that she has not gone back to Chris and they did the two tracks to bring their fan base together. It was purely “innocent” and people should not have jumped to the wrong conclusion. In her mind it was just music…nothing else.
Rihanna canceled her trip to the UK at the very last minute. There are reports about health concerns. The young pop sensation works and parties hard and that could very well be the reason why her work commitment in the UK had been canceled. Worried fans are rallying for her to feel better and hope she’ll be able to perform soon.
Rihanna grew up in Barbados and always had a certain star quality. Today, she’s one of the biggest pop stars around. Internationally loved and has topped the charts over and over again. Discovered by Evan Rogers who produced super pops stars, Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera, Rihanna was only 16, but was quickly signed up by Jay-Z and within months, Music of the Sun was released and hit the charts at Number 10. Rihanna has made a name for herself and is best known for her song, Umbrella, which was a smash hit in 2007. Fans continue to wish her well and really hope that she doesn’t go back to Chris Brown and their abusive relationship.
