Courteney cox david arquetteActor David Arquette finally makes it official and has finally decided to file divorce papers to end his marriage to actress Courteney Cox, whose sole claim to fame is the NBC ensemble sitcom “Friends.” Arquette and Cox were married back in June of 1999. The couple was married for 13 years.

Arquette actually signed the divorce papers back in March of this year, and apparently has been holding onto the papers for whatever reason. The couple announced their separation back in 2010, and publicly stated that they were friends and that they would raise their daughter together. In the papers, Arquette has filed for joint physical and legal custody of the couple’s daughter Coco.

David Arquette is an actor who is known for his roles in such films as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Wild Bill and the Scream series of movies. Arquette also was a professional wrestler at a point in his career and wrestled for WCW, and at one point was actually that wrestling federation’s heavyweight champion. Many wrestling aficionados say that this was the beginning of the end for WCW, as Arquette’s holding that title made the title much less impressive.

And if this weren’t enough Arquette news to digest, the actor found himself in Israel on Monday, and was bar-mitzvahed! This week the actor was traveling for a new series that he’s creating for the Travel Channel, and was at Israel’s Western Wall attending a bar mitzvah, and the rabbi conducting the ceremony invited the actor to have his own ceremony performed.

Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz conducted the ceremony for the 40 year old Arquette. Arquette, who was born to a Jewish mother and a father who became a Muslim was said to be very emotional about the ceremony. Arquette comes from a family of actors including most notably Patricia and Rosanna Arquette. Other members of the acting family include first generation actor Cliff Arquette, and second generation actor Lewis Arquette.

Arquette has also been a part of a short lived band called Ear 2000, had a comic published by Image comics titled The Tripper, and in a joint venture with Ben Harper has a clothing line called Propr Clothing.
