Stewie and the rest of the family are prepared to step up as the newest members of the KISS Army. The guys from KISS have decided to team up with America’s beloved family for both appearances and a full line of merchandise. It seems that what started so long ago between Lois and Gene Simmons has culminated into a full fledge partnership of sorts.
KISS has been well known for their marketing skills over the past 4 decades. Their names and likenesses have been plastered on just about anything that could be labeled and sold. Paul Stanley, the group’s lead singer and sometimes spokesman told reporters that the time is right for them to target more lucrative business deals that focus more on “the upper-tier, blue chip opportunities” in business. The plan is to produce a full line of merchandise that focuses on KISS and Family Guy and the continual interaction between the two.
Both Fox and Live Nation’s Merchandise believe the union is going to be a good one. People from both groups seem excited for the merger and are looking forward to finding out just what kind of merchandise is being planned. Doc McGhee, KISS’s longtime manager, help to put the deal in motion and has made remarks about some of the items that were discussed. Apparel, bobble head dolls and figurines are all a possibility.
Gene Simmons has made several appearances on the show already and is looking forward to more. In fact, he has become quite fond of the time he spends with the feisty family. Even though, Gene and Lois have went their separate ways, she still has fond memories of their time together. With Stewie and the rest of the crew in tow, Peter and Lois are taking their places in the ever growing ranks of the KISS Army.
