Sylvester Stallone is prompting police to continue looking into his son’s untimely death. His son, Sage Stallone was found recently found deceased in a room with several large pharmaceutical bottles. During the initial investigation police found the bottles along with traces of white powder in the apartment. People began to wonder what direction the police would take the investigation especially since it was handed over to the homicide unit. Police investigators claim because the case is high profile involving a a famous actor, the case was automatically handed over to the department for the increased security.
The elder Stallone, who starred in all of the “Rambo” movies has been encouraging law enforcement to take a close look at what was found in the apartment and the events leading up to his son’s death. No suicide note was found and he believes that foul play may have been involved. Stallone, as well as others who knew Sage defend the young man saying they had serious doubts he was a habitual drug user. His body weight alone calls that into question considering he was slightly overweight and most people who are addicted to drugs, prescription or otherwise are usually thin.
Stallone told law enforcement his son had extensive dental surgery just a few weeks ago and had been in extreme pain because of it. After having five teeth removed he was prescribed pain killers to help relieve the discomfort. The only problem is that the type of containers found in Sage Stallone’s apartment were the size pharmacies carry, not the size of a prescription pill bottle. More than 60 bottles that were found that are capable of holding over 500 pills each. Even if Sage had a prescription for the Vicodin that was supposedly contained in the numerous bottles, he would have had more than enough to last a life time. With all of the pills gone, people are wondering if he tried to test that theory.
